Why I Started Devon’s Event Directory
Having worked in the event industry for many years, I’ve experienced the challenges that many local businesses face when trying to attract new customers. Like many suppliers, I’ve spent hundreds of pounds each month on lead-generation websites and directory subscriptions, hoping to connect with people looking for my services.
While some platforms worked well, I often felt there was room for something more straightforward, more transparent and more focused on supporting local businesses and local communities.
That’s what inspired me to create Devon’s Event Directory—a place where event organisers can easily discover trusted local suppliers, and where businesses of all sizes have the opportunity to showcase what they do without unnecessary complexity.
